This policy describes how we handle information when you use the Darija Wordle mobile app (Android / iOS).

1. Who we are

2. Data we collect

• Account data: if you sign in (e.g. with Google), we may process your email address and a user identifier (e.g. Firebase UID).
• Profile: display name and optional avatar (emoji or photo you choose).
• Game data: scores, games played, wins, streaks, achievements, and related gameplay statistics.
• Notifications (optional): if you enable push notifications, a device push token may be processed to send notifications.
• Advertising: the app may use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). AdMob may use identifiers to show and measure ads, according to Google’s policies and your device settings.

3. How we use data

• Provide login, profile, and game features
• Store your progress and show leaderboards where applicable
• Send optional notifications if you allow them
• Operate and improve the app, and help keep it secure
• Show advertising through AdMob

4. Third parties & sharing

We use service providers that process data on our behalf or as part of the service:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore (cloud database), and related Firebase services.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — advertising. See Google’s information about how Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps: Google’s Partner Sites policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with providers above as needed to run the app and comply with law.

5. Data retention

We keep your data until you delete your account or as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements.

6. Your choices & account deletion

You can request deletion of your account from inside the app: Profile → Delete account (or equivalent), which removes your account and associated app data as implemented in the app.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. If you are a parent and believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

8. International users

Our services and providers (e.g. Google) may process data in various countries. By using the app, you understand that your information may be processed in those countries where our providers operate.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy where permitted by law.
